Un mic offtopic pentru cei care au citit paginile precedente - deplasarea organizata de AISS costa intre 100 si 150 RON, nu euro. punkboy, ca de obicei, pe langa subiect.

Heeey...our turkish friends, any good hooligans there ? :kisstogether:

First of all, I would like to say hello to all our Steau Supporter friends from Turkey.

The team that I support is insignificant at this minute but I think what i want to say may very well be..

We all know that football is a sports game. I agree that there's a lot of money surrounding it and we, as fans want our team to beat the rest and succeed, maybe because it puts us in a more comfortable and self-confident position against our friends (and foes) in our society. Therefore it's understandable that we are proud of our teams and bet on their success against any team in the world no matter how strong they may be.

However, what is going on here is completely silly. From a Steau fan's point of view, this might look like an invasion by Galatasaray fans, visiting this website, making offensive comments and statements about Steau, talk about Hell, how they are going to do this and that with a broken english and a half!

Instead, why dont we discuss our similarities and differences? At the end of the day, Galatasaray recently hired more Romanian players for service than any other team in Turkey and I guess most of their careers started here at Steau. Take Hagi for example, he is a legend for Galatasaray fans an an idol for many young players in Turkey. Why not appreciate this fact and act friendly towards our (nearly) neighbours. What's with the attitude?

I may get some really weird comments after this post but I sincerely hope you all get some sense and start acting like civilised people and show some respect for eachother.

I wish both teams good luck. Naturally I'd like to see a Turkish team progress in to the CL but what's more important is that we remain friends and realise that these are opportunaties to make some international friends.

Carpe Diem!

P.S: In case anyone's wondering, I'm a Fenerbahce supporter but like I said, this fact is completely irrelevant.

Just a notice: I'm really amazed that so many Fener fans even bothered to find out Galata's opponent and more, try to establish a nice conversation on this website. It's nothing bad really, but take us for example: we wouldn't have given a sh1t on who Dinamo Bucuresti plays against.

bodrumdan_barkahan04.08.2008 20:22

a semnat pentru un an Radoi la inter?

To be completely honest, I came across this site through another fan site and happenned to see all the "rather weird" posts. I agree, I shouldnt be bothered about the team Galatasaray is playing but recently I've been seeing so many similar situtations around, I couldnt help but express my thoughts in general. Like I said, me, being a Fenerbahce fan is irrelevant.

Match in the Ali Sami Yen (HELL)

Best Football Stadium ranking 3. in Europe (Ali Sami Yen Stadium)

LINK

1. Mestalla, Valencia

The Mestalla is far from the biggest ground in Spain with a capacity of only 55,000, but its steeply banked terraces rise out the ground like sheer rock faces. The masses packed into Real Madrid's Bernabeu and Barcelona's Camp Nou struggle to generate a fraction of the intensity seen at Valencia.

2. Anfield, Liverpool

Arguably the greatest player in Liverpool's history is their famed 12th man. The Kop bellows its anthem from the depth of a collective heart which can terrify and inspire in equal measure. The Anfield atmosphere has pulled victories from the clutches of defeat on numerous occasions and turned dependable performers into quivering wrecks. John Terry admitted his Chelsea side were deeply affected by the sheer volume of noise during The Blues' Champions League semi-final three years ago and Terry's troops must master their fear when they return to Merseyside on Tuesday night.

3. Stade Velodrome, Marseille

The French are not renowned for intimidating grounds, but the people of Marseille have a unique identity and enjoy a unique footballing experience. The Stade Velodrome holds 60,000 empassioned fans who turn the terraces into a giant mosh pit of bouncing bodies. There are plans to increase the capacity to 80,000 in the future.

4. Ali Sami Yen Stadium, Galatasaray

'Welcome to Hell' read a string of banners that adorn the Ali Sami Yen Stadium and few would disagree. Galatasaray's ground is a cauldron of hate and despite its meagre capacity of 25,500, the noise and intensity of the spite spitting from the stands is deafening.
