Champions for the 23rd time

By defeating FC Vaslui in the last season match, Steaua Bucharest acheived its 23rd title.

The last two seasons were excellent for Steaua, winning the romanian championship two times in a row and playing in the advanced knockout stages of the UEFA Cup(defeating Valencia last year and reaching the semi-finals this year).
