for non-romanian speakers out there

George Stan12.10.2004 16:06

Our site is based on our native romanian language. However, due to the importance of those matches between our beloved teams, we agreed to make this board as friendly as possible and allow you to write topics in english.

The only thing we ask from you is:

If you have something to say, please make a stand-alone topic instead of posting an english reply to a romanian topic.

That's it. Enjoy our discussion board.

Hello there,

Are you the George that has visited our website the last few days (that is the French part)?

I come over next week for 2 days, looking forward.

Had to pay 50 euro for my ticket which i think is very much, it should be a vip ticket. Can u explain?

Cheers

George Stan15.10.2004 17:24

No. i'm not that George.

I did'nt knew a belgian fan has to pay 50 eur for the ticket. I agree, this is very expensive, the most expensive ticket in our stad is 50EUR, in the VIP area but i'm pretty sure the belgian fans won't stay there. You will probably stay in the south area of the stadion, just where the scoreboard is. This area cost for us only 4 Eur.

Anyway, i hope you'll spend two fine days here. That is of course possible if you don't mind see Standard losing :)

George

True Red15.10.2004 17:32

Maybe I get lucky and I see them win

Anyway, normally I think we'll be in the VIP-area because we pay 50 euro for the ticket and we fly with the players on wednesday morning.

Our other fans will be behind one of the goals and have to pay 12,50 euro.

How much lei is 1 euro?

Have u got some info on where to go in Bucarest (drink, eat...)?

Thx

George Stan15.10.2004 17:49

Ok, that's another story, if you;re a VIP, you'll be in the VIP area :)

1 EURO = 41000 LEI

Where to eat, where to drink... that depends on how much do you want to spend. Bucharest is a big city, we have places for all kind of people, you may even find places where prices are even higher than back home (like the big hotels - inter, marriot etc) but the usual prices are much lower. The popular pubs and clubs are in the historical center of our city (far from the stadium)

True Red15.10.2004 19:38

I'm not really a vip  , had to choose that trip if I wanted to stay at least a night in Bucarest.

We'll arrive Wednesday early noon and probably visit the old historical centre then.

Really looking forward.

May the best team win.

And let's hope that it will be us.

True Red18.10.2004 14:24

How many people do u expect for the game?

Is my weatherforecast correct: rather warm in Bucarest (over 20°) but rainy Wednesday and Thursday?

BTW The first time I saw Steaua was on 17/09/1980, 24 (!) years ago.

Steaua played 1-1 that day in Liege with the following team: Jordach, Anghelini, Sames, Marin, Nitu, Zahiu, Raducanu, Iordanescu (77' Andreicuti), Ionescu, Aelenei en Jurga;

Raducanu scored the equaliser in the 90th min.

I don't want to scare u guys but in Bucarest Standard won 1-2...

George Stan18.10.2004 18:08

There will be at least 20000 people, depending on the weather. Our stadium capacity is 28000.

Today was a very beautifull day in Bucharest, very warm an nice, a t-shirt weather.

You don't scare us, we know our team.

Have a nice trip!

True Red18.10.2004 19:45

Thx, as I said before, may the best team win.

I am 100 % sure I will enjoy Bucharest anyway

gone18.10.2004 21:17

Bucharest is a nice city and i hope you will enjoy it. If our team plays like we know she can than i'm sure that we will win.
