Football is seen by some people just as a sport , and the real fans are seen as hooligans or stupid people.But those who say that, don't really know them.
I'm a very big football fan since I was 4, when my father took me on the Ghencea Stadium. FC Steaua Bucuresti was playing against Sportul Studentesc. I remember the match. Since then, I'm crazy about football, being part of the supporters, singing and encouraging the team. I go to the stadium almost weekly .
Steaua Bucuresti is the biggest Romanian team ever. We are the only team who won the European Title ( 1986 2-0 at penalties against FC Barcelona) and the Supercup (1987 against Dinamo Kiev 1-0).
Our biggest rival is Dinamo Bucuresti , a small and lonely team.
Since 2003 the supporters fought against the manager Gigi Becali. Many people say this isn't good, but we can't stand seeing him humilating our glories as : Gheorghe Hagi, Ladislau Boloni, Marius Lacatus and many more. He's not a real supporter as he declarated himself. He thinks that Steaua Bucuresti is just a buisness , but for us is a style of life, sometimes the only thing that we love. Is our pleasure. And we won't let him take our pleasure.
He humilated us by wearing our rival's scarf. He thinks he's better than everybody. He's just a little man in a big world. We are more. He talked to us by the stadium's voice station. Everybody felt like in our early '80s when the communism was at power.
We fought against him with chants, choregraphies, marches and protests. I think that Steaua Bucuresti won't be the same beloved team untill this man walks out of the Stadium. And he will, he must!
He didn't give up, but we won't give up the first ones for sure. His clock is ticking and we are making it tick faster by our solidarity and union.
He closed one of our groups, but no big deal. At the next match, we'll go in another place of the Stadium. We won't give up until Steaua Bucuresti will be a "Free Gigi" club.
