Beware of wearing any Steaua paraphenelia cause if the Rapid crows see you....shit then not even running will save you.

Is it really that bad? I wasn't planning on wearing any Steaua merchandise, I thought that would be a bad idea!

If you're going in Giulesti, watch your pockets, dont wear anything even resembling red and blue and if you're staying at Tribuna 2 or one of the Peluze (with the crows fans) you've got to try and pretend you're with them....rrrapid has some of the most violent supporters in Bucharest, so watch yourself.

PS: afaik, the game is on sunday, not saturday.

In other words the neighbourhood will resemble more like gypsytown central as most of the Rapid fans are gypsies.Leave your ring,watch,neck chain or any precious possesion at home, to be safe than sorry.Pretend to the fullest....hehehe

Thanks for the advice and the reminder about the day of the game. I have read about the violence before and after the games so I will keep quiet and out of the way of it.

Well I went to the game and as I started making my way up to the stadium I did start to think it was a bad idea. Got in ok though and loved it, even though it was the most boring match I've ever witnessed it was a joy to see such passionate supporters. If you tried to take a flare into a game in England they would probably ban you from watching football for three years! Great stuff.
